Hoyts has promoted two of its sales and operational managers to senior leadership team positions, a move it says demonstrates its efforts to nurture talent from within.

Ellisa Woodham, previously General Manager of Sales & Partnerships for Australia and New Zealand, has been promoted to Director of Partnerships and Sales. Christina Langdon, from her current role of Area Manager in Melbourne, has been promoted to the newly created role of General Manager Cinema Operations.

In her new role, Woodham will continue to drive growth and innovation in the cinema sector. CEO of HOYTS, Damian Keogh, commended her efforts, stating, "Ellisa has consistently delivered outstanding results and innovative solutions in the cinema sector, particularly during challenging years for our company and will now play a crucial role in helping to shape the overall strategic direction of HOYTS."

Langdon, in her new role, will oversee the day-to-day operations of HOYTS’ cinemas across Australia and New Zealand. Keogh praised Langdon's extensive knowledge of cinema operations.

"Christina is an outstanding cinema operator who will lead our location-based teams to ensure we continue to deliver great customer experiences for all our guests," he said.

Both appointments are effective immediately and reflect HOYTS' commitment to recognising and nurturing internal talent as the company continues to grow and innovate in the cinema industry, Keogh said.

HOYTS has more than 490 screens and over 59,000 seats across its network.
