Publicis Groupe celebrates success with 100,000 personalised 'thank you' films
Publicis Groupe is kicking off 2024 with a unique personalised initiative to thank its global team members with a little help from AI.
The company is creating 100,000 personalised 'thank you' films, each one powered by artificial intelligence (AI). This initiative, dubbed 'One-to-One Wishes', comes on the heels of a successful year for Publicis, which the company said saw it claim the top spot in several key areas.
In 2023, Publicis achieved first place in organic growth, financial KPIs, new business, and ESG, becoming the industry leader in terms of market value. The holding group attributed its success to the hard work and dedication of its team members, and the company has chosen a novel way to express its gratitude.
The personalised films are a result of an experiment in AI video, storytelling, and personalisation at scale. They are created using information about Publicis employees gathered through their platform, Marcel. This ensures each 'thank you' is relevant to the individual's interests and passions, making for a truly personalised token of appreciation.
Publicis Groupe stated in their press release, 'After a year where Publicis achieved a lot of firsts - first on organic growth, first on all financial KPIs, first on new business, first on ESG, to become first in the industry in terms of market value – as always, we wanted to put our people first, and thank them one by one, for helping us to secure the #1 spot in 2023.'
The press release includes five examples of the personalised films, featuring different Publicis team members and their interests. These examples serve to illustrate the level of personalisation and thoughtfulness that has gone into this initiative. For instance, one clip features Carla and Arthur thanking Eva, a sports-loving Groupe Managing Partner living in Austria. In another, Maurice and Arthur thank Gabi, an adventure-seeking Business Lead from Sao Paulo. And in a third, Agathe and Arthur thank Laure, a multi-lingual People Experience Director based in Paris, with a passion for video games, and the great outdoors.
