Superloop consolidates media strategy under Publicis Groupe
Internet provider Superloop has consolidated its media strategy under Publicis Groupe, appointing Zenith Australia to manage media strategy, planning, buying and research across all channels, effective from 1 March 2024.
This move brings Superloop's media and creative duties under one roof, with Leo Burnett already handling the creative aspect for the company. In addition to Superloop, Zenith Australia will also manage the media account of Exetel, another Internet provider under the Superloop parent company.
Superloop, which launched in 2014, claims to be one of Australia’s fastest-growing Internet Service Providers (ISPs), boasting over 350,000 customers. The company is now setting its sights on expanding its customer base, targeting new audiences including young families, mature households, and online gamers.
Publicis' digital agency, Digitas, will also be engaged on a project basis to provide digital transformation solutions for Superloop.
Superloop's Chief Marketing Officer, Ben Colman, expressed his excitement about the partnership.
"Superloop exists to refresh the Internet by delivering game-changing, innovative solutions to common Internet pain points. It’s always been important to us to find partners that think and act like we do. We’re thrilled to be working with the talented team at Zenith, leveraging their media capability, strategy, proven operational efficiency, and building on the insightful creative delivered by our friends at Leo Burnett," he stated.
Jonny Cordony, Zenith Sydney's Managing Director, said it was looking forward to helping Superloop move into its next phase of growth.
"Superloop has been setting a new pace, experiencing tremendous growth over the last 15 months," he said. "We’re delighted to realise the Publicis Connected Platform model and partner with Leo Burnett on the exceptional strategy and creative work in ‘Refresh Your Internet’ alongside combining with digital and UX engagement through Digitas."
