Yahoo Advertising unveils 'Yahoo Blueprint' AI suite powered by 335 million users
Yahoo Advertising has unveiled its latest innovation, Yahoo Blueprint, an artificial intelligence (AI) suite designed to power performance-based solutions within the Yahoo Demand-Side Platform (DSP).
The AI suite is fuelled by 335 million logged-in Yahoo users worldwide, offering a wealth of data for campaign forecasting and optimisation. Yahoo Blueprint has already launched with a number of Fortune 500 brand partners and agencies, and the media giant claimed it's showcasing potential to deliver stronger results, confidence in optimisation, and simplicity and efficiency for advertisers.
The AI suite includes new data visualisations, bidding and forecasting precision through the Omniscope algorithmic forecasting tool, audience insights, predictive audiences leveraging dimensions such as interests and demographics, customer value optimisation and reporting capabilities. There's also an AI co-pilot providing recommendations for campaign improvements and auto optimisation.
"What sets our AI suite apart is the vast scale of proprietary data we tap into before considering third-party or customer first-party data," Yahoo Chief Revenue Officer, Elizabeth Herbst-Brady, said. This approach allows Yahoo to leverage its extensive user base to provide more accurate and effective advertising solutions.
Herbst-Brady further emphasised the control Yahoo Blueprint offers to advertisers. "With Yahoo Blueprint, advertisers always hold the reins. Yahoo Blueprint not only focuses on enhancing performance, but also aims to reduce friction and maintain transparency, ensuring both ease of use and advertiser control," she explained.
The launch of Yahoo Blueprint represents a significant step forward in Yahoo Advertising's offerings, potentially transforming the way advertisers interact with the Yahoo DSP. The company said Blueprint is an evolving AI ecosystem and further phased enhancements are on the cards.
