PassportCard travel insurance debuts 'When ‘it’ happens' with Keep Left

PassportCard has taken the wrappers off its inaugural brand campaign with PR and creative agency, Keep Left.

The campaign, aptly titled ‘When ‘It’ Happens’, zeroes in on the unpredictability of travel and how PassportCard's unique travel insurance offering can help travellers navigate unexpected situations with ease.

It comes on the back of research commissioned by PassportCard, which found 62% of Australians have experienced or know someone who has experienced an issue when travelling. Yet only 15% of respondents said they anticipated the problem.

PassportCard, claiming to be the only company in the world to offer instant payouts for the three most common claims and 24-hour support, is looking to disrupt the travel insurance market.

“Our brand campaign is about driving awareness for this unique offering and showing Aussie travellers we’ve got their back with instant payouts for medical emergencies, delayed luggage, and stolen cash. We're that extra layer of peace of mind when you take a trip.," PassportCard Head of Marketing, Brona Hyndman, said. "As long as you've packed your PassportCard, you're prepared for when ‘it’ happens” and can get back to your holiday, faster.”

The campaign will be rolled out across out-of-home (OOH), radio, digital/social, and PR channels, aiming to reach a broad audience of potential travellers. PassportCard's unique proposition of instant payouts via a rechargeable prepaid debit card could be a game-changer in the travel insurance sector, offering a swift solution to the often time-consuming and stressful claims process.

“Our approach for this campaign was to shout loud and clear that while mishaps can be an inevitable part of travel, they don’t need to mark the end of the good times," Laura Agricola, Keep Left’s Strategy Director, said. "‘When ‘It’ Happens’ shows how PassportCard customers can navigate those unexpected curveballs with confidence and turn unforeseen challenges into unforgettable stories.”
