LiSTNR amplifies user experience with launch of latest web player version
Southern Cross Austereo (SCA) has unveiled the latest evolution of its LiSTNR Web Player, promising audiences a clearer, faster, and more personalised user experience.
The newly launched Version 4 is designed to enhance the user experience by allowing LiSTNR content to be consumed online anywhere, anytime, on any device with a browser. It simplifies the process of sharing content on social platforms through posts and direct messaging, as LiSTNR doubles down on its strategy to create a seamless transition between the app and the web, facilitated by a new deep linking capability.
SCA Executive Head LiSTNR Product & Technology, Chris Johnson, said: "The new LiSTNR Web Player, together with the updated LiSTNR App, creates a seamless user experience across a wide range of devices. The personalised platform makes it easy for audiences to find their favourites or continue where they left off. With the fully signed-in Web Player, advertisers can leverage our first-party data to achieve the same exceptional campaign performance they’re already experiencing on mobile."
For advertisers, the LiSTNR Web Player Version 4 presents an opportunity to build its addressable audience by accelerating the transition from unknown to known users. LiSTNR, which boasts more than two million signed up users, provides first-party data that delivers highly measurable advertising opportunities.
LiSTNR is a curated and personalised, free app offering radio, podcasts, music, and sport, creating a new audio destination for all Australians. The platform is available across a broad array of devices including both iOS and Android, CarPlay and Android Auto, Google Assistant and Alexa, and Android TV.
