Emma Wood ascends to head of investment at PHD Sydney
PHD Sydney has promoted Emma Wood to the role of Head of Investment. Previously serving as Sydney's Co-Head of Investment, Wood will now assume full responsibility for the Sydney investment product, backed by an elevated team structure within the agency.
Wood has been with PHD for three years, a period during which she has reportedly exceeded expectations and demonstrated growth and positive outcomes for clients. Her investment expertise spans across a range of categories and brands, including global key accounts such as PepsiCo and Chanel.
Notably, Wood was the first to co-create and deliver an end-to-end converged screens campaign in Australia. This innovative approach to marketing demonstrates her ability to drive forward-thinking strategies and solutions for clients.
In her new role, Wood will continue to report into PHD’s Chief Investment Officer, Joanna Barnes.
Wood expressed her enthusiasm for her new role, stating, "I am deeply passionate about our people and the opportunity to support them in their careers whilst driving our investment ambitions forward. Our PHD Investment team are exceptionally talented, and I am really looking forward to nurturing their growth and development to in turn deliver fantastic work for our clients."
Barnes also shared her excitement about Wood's promotion, saying, "We are ambitious in our pursuit to drive our clients’ businesses forward through a data-led innovative approach and Emma has been a critical component of our success. From the time Emma joined the business I have been impressed with her ability to build exceptionally strong and meaningful relationships with her clients, partners and team. I am thrilled Emma has taken up this opportunity and look forward to building on the achievements to date."
