Enero overhauls Orchard with new CEO, CTO, COO
The executive leadership team of digital agency Orchard has been reshuffled, with Wai Kwok named as CEO, Martin Stafford the CTO and Sarah Galletly the COO. It’s part of Enero Group CEO Brent Scrimshaw’s plan for “aggressive” growth and acquisitions.
What you need to know:
- Enero Group has promoted Wai Kwok to CEO of Orchard, as it continues a spree of senior appointments.
- Martin Stafford and Sarah Galletly have been named CTO and COO, respectively.
- Enero Group CEO Brent Scrimshaw has previously said he has an “aggressive” growth plan, backed by cash, and is looking to return to the acquisition trail.
Enero Group has continued its senior leadership spree, promoting Wai Kwok to Chief Executive Officer of the group’s digital and creative agency, Orchard.
Kwok, the former Managing Partner of the agency, will report to Enero Group CEO Brent Scrimshaw.
Martin Stafford and Sarah Galletly, founding partners of Orchard, have been named as Chief Technology Officer and Chief Operating Officer, respectively.
Andrew Antoniou, the fourth managing partner from the founding group acquired by Enero in 2017, will step down at the end of October to move with his family back to Europe.
Orchard counts Hyundai, Boehringer Ingelheim, BPAY, The Royal Australian College of General Practitioners, CSL and Hoyts among its clients.
The appointments come as Enero is looking for “aggressive” growth opportunities. Scrimshaw, who spent much of the past two decades with Nike, previously said he is aiming to streamline the group into three core pillars: creative shop BMF, digital agency Orchard and tech-focused PR unit Hotwire.
Earlier this month, Energo announced it had hired former Bain & Company and Commbank exec Nick Burton as its Group Strategy and M&A Director.
The latest job announcements, as well as newly appointed Chief Financial Officer Holly Minucos, comprise Orchard’s executive leadership, Scrimshaw said in a statement.
Kwok said the Orchard team had grown to 120 people with a “big future ahead of us”.
