Woolworths names M&C Saatchi to Paid Social account
Woolworths has named M&C Saatchi to its Paid Social account, and will play “a key role” in how customers experience the supermarket’s social presence.

Woolworths has named M&C Saatchi as its Paid Social creative and production agency after a three-stage pitch.
The supermarket said the agency will play “a key role in defining the overall strategic direction of the Supermarket customer experience across its social media channels” and noted the appointment “further extends” Woolworths’ partnership with the M&C Saatchi Group.
Woolworths and M&C Saatchi created Greenhouse six years ago, which functions as a 100-strong, integrated creative agency.
Cassie Wheeler, Woolworths Head of Marketing Communications, said in a statement: “Our needs in social media have evolved, particularly the last few years during the pandemic, and our ambition is to accelerate brand growth through outstanding social content to connect with our customers.”
Sian Cook, M&C Saatchi MD AUNZ, welcomed the expanded role.
