Snack Drawer ends 2024 on a high note with new hires and Victorian Transport win
Snack Drawer has wrapped up 2024 with a raft of new hires, bringing the culture-focused creative agency's headcount to 20. It comes as the business onboards several new clients, including the Victorian Department of Transport, for which it now serves as the Digital & Content Agency of record.
Among the new hires are Patricia Casten, who joins as Senior Creator, and Aaliyah Wattie, who takes on the role of Junior Creator. Guillaume Michel has been appointed as Senior Social Account Manager, while Fiona Dunn and Tina Jenkins have been brought on board as Producer and PR Account Executive, respectively.
The agency's creative portfolio has also expanded, with recent campaign work for AAMI and Intrepid Travel highlighted as key milestones for Snack Drawer.
"This year has been about more than just growth," said Snack Drawer CEO and Co-Founder, Jamie Searle. "As a business with a 2020 origin story, change is our norm. We are excited to have found the sweet spot between creative advertising and communications, and have operationalised our offering in a way that meets rapidly evolving client needs. As we grow in this space, we are bringing in new, specialised expertise across paid, owned and earned media, investing in upskilling our team in what is our unique and important position in the agency landscape. We are doubling down on our culture and agency values to ensure Snack Drawer continues to be a great place to work, learn and grow, and our clients receive the benefits of that."
Chief Creator and Co-Founder, Hannah McElhinney, said: "Snack Drawer is focused on how we use creativity and entertainment, as well as our understanding of fandom and culture to provide an antidote to attention decay – an antidote we call Good Attention. The work we’ve created over this year in collaboration with our portfolio of brands really reflects this stance, and our growing team, burgeoning client list and evolving portfolio are a testament to its impact. It’s pretty cool."
Founded in 2020, Snack Drawer works with high-profile brands including Netflix, Meta, and Nike.
