Namita Sopal promoted to ad strategy chief at Paramount ANZ
Paramount ANZ has named Namita Sopal as its new Head of National Advertising Strategy, with the former Wavemaker and Carat exec tasked with adding a strategic smarts to campaigns in a bid to deliver better results.

Paramount ANZ has promoted Namita Sopal to the newly created Head of National Advertising Strategy role, leading how the network builds and delivers co-created strategic campaigns.
Sopal is currently National Strategy Lead at 10 Imagine and has worked for more than three years at Paramount ANZ, with more than a decade experience at agencies like Carat, Storylab Sydney and Wavemaker.
Sopal said the role would “provide a greater focus, articulation and demonstration of the power of our brands, content and platforms as well as our products, all cohesively working together to best serve our clients”.
Rod Prosser, Paramount ANZ’s Chief Sales Officer, said Sopal’s role stretches “beyond briefs” to bring creative and strategic thinking to brands. She’ll report to Michael Stanford, National Creative Director, and work with the All Screens Sales and specialist teams.
