Nikki Warburton takes Audi chief customer and marketer role
Audi Australia has realigned its marketing function with Nikki Warburton promoted to chief customer & marketing officer.
The new role encompasses product planning, customer experience and digital innovation as well as the existing marketing communications, corporate communications and experiential marketing functions.
Audi Australia MD, Paul Sansom, said Warburton was "the obvious candidate" following a successful first 12 months as Audi CMO.
He said realignment around the customer "is a natural progression as we head into a highly anticipated wave of new products that will arrive here in the next 12-18 months. These will be pivotal for Audi".
Warburton said she was "thrilled" to take on broader responsibility and to lead efforts on greater customer-centricity.
“The new team brings together so many elements including the way we talk to customers, the way we interact with them and the way we offer them the very best products in the premium automotive market," said Warburton.
