InfoSum hires local GM to lead ANZ expansion
Data collaboration platform InfoSum has named its new Australia and New Zealand General Manager, former Quantcast director Rick Knott.

Clean room company InfoSum has named a new Australia and New Zealand boss to lead its local expansion, with former Quantcast director Rick Knott joining as General Manager, effective immediately.
InfoSum describes itself as a data collaboration platform, that uses clean room technology to let companies can draw insights from separate customer data sets without sharing those data. It works with companies like Disney, Experian, Omnicom and Axel Springer.
Knott has worked for 25 years in the media and marketing space, previously as Commercial Strategy & Business Development Director APAC at Quantcast and APAC GM at creative management platform Celtra. He has been chair of the IAB Australia Mobile Advertising Council and Business Development & Operations Director ANZ at InMobi.
“Australia is an innovative market with highly skilled and discerning operators of the best technology on the edge of a shift in data privacy,” Brian Lesser, CEO and Chairman at InfoSum, said in a statement.
Knott said: “The market is on the brink of change, with privacy regulations such as the Online Privacy Bill and the extinction of the third-party cookie threatening the way companies collect, manage, and use consumer data.”
A number of companies in Australia work with InfoSum, but it has been a remote relationship with no local presence.
