Cartology's move.
Cartology names ex Meta client partner David Fernandez as head of growth
Cartology has doubled down on its commitment to foster more strategic relationships with agency groups, appointing David Fernandez as its new head of growth for the Woolworths Group retail media unit.
Fernandez joins Cartology with a wealth of experience across agency, media and client side roles, including nearly 10 years at Meta, where he finished up as ANZ retail client partner at the end of 2022. He has spent the last two years consulting independently.
Prior to his time at Meta, Fernandez held senior positions at Group M, Reprise Digital, Deals Direct and Western Union. His appointment is part of a broader strategy by Cartology to strengthen its agency partnerships and deliver impactful results through strategic solutions.
"We are thrilled to welcome David Fernandez to the Cartology team," said General Manager of Agency Partnerships at Cartology, Martin Wood. "This appointment reflects our commitment to building strong, long term agency relationships. David’s leadership will be instrumental in unlocking growth through strategic partnerships and solutions that deliver impactful results.”
In his new role, Fernandez will work closely with the General Manager of Agency Partnerships to manage long-term relationships with agency groups.
“I’m excited by the opportunity to lead agency growth at Cartology. I’m looking forward to collaborating more deeply with our agency partners, understanding their unique needs and enabling them to leverage the full power of retail media through their media strategies," said Fernandez.
The announcement follows Cartology's recent appointment of Media Tonic for exclusive Retail Out of Home representation across Western Australia and South Australia agency partners.
