Big W's new homeware collection: A blend of viral social trends and affordability

BIG W has dropped its new Autumn Winter Home Collection to help Aussies style their spaces for less using viral trends identified by influencer creators.

The collection highlights a range of affordable, quality homewares across different living spaces, with more pieces set to be released this Autumn.

The launch of the new AW24 Home Collection was celebrated by BIG W in collaboration with a team of leading home content creators who identified four viral trends shaping interior style. These creators include The Block’s Mitch & Mark, organisation queen Anita Birges, TikTok powerhouse and home hacker Chantel Mila, and interior stylist Brie Turton.

Senior Homewares Designer at BIG W, Gary Chen, said the collection was designed with quality and affordability in mind, aiming to help Australian families refresh their home spaces with new-season styles for less.

“From crafty storage solutions and tablescaping to household hacks and kid-inspired decor, we know that Aussies are turning to social media for inspiration on how to style their homes. We wanted to take the trends we see on social media and bring them to life through the products in this collection,” Chen said.

The four viral trends identified are #inexpensiveluxury, #tablescape, #kidsdecor, and #organisewithme. Chantel Mila shared tips on achieving luxury in the home without breaking the bank, using BIG W’s home living range. For Brie Turton, a good tablescape can completely transform your dining space and mood without breaking the bank.

“Social media is the place for interior trends and inspiration. It’s great to see BIG W dropping a collection that makes these trends more accessible to Australian families. When it comes to kids’ spaces, it’s important to pick pieces that spark joy, creativity and imagination - alongside some clever storage solutions to keep things tidy,” added Mitch and Mark.

The collection is available online and in stores now, with various shopping options including Pick Up, Home Delivery, and Direct to Boot.
