Australian Avocados honours King Charles III with limited edition avocado spoon and holder
Australian Avocados has launched a limited edition avocado spoon and holder to commemorate King Charles III's visit to Australia.
The bespoke utensils were created in collaboration with Vert Design Studio and Thinkerbell, and can be viewed on the Australian Avocados Instagram page. The avocado holder features three golden legs, while the spoon has a teardrop shape for improved scooping.
Senior Brand Manager at Australian Avocados, Victoria Zourkas, said: “Upon hearing the news that King Charles III enjoys half an avo for lunch, we wanted to create this limited edition avocado spoon and holder in his honour and help highlight the versatility of the avocado for all Australians.”
The company plans to present the commemorative avocado holder and spoon to King Charles III during his royal engagements in Australia. Strategic OOH JCDecaux placements have been set up around Sydney Airport in the hope that the royal team will notice and accept the offering.
The project is funded by Hort Innovation, using the avocado marketing levy. Hort Innovation is a grower-owned, not-for-profit research and development corporation for Australian horticulture.
