MINI Australia names new marketing lead
MINI Australia has named its new Head of Marketing in Australia and New Zealand, after former marketing lead Alex McLean was promoted to lead BMW Australia’s marketing efforts. Nikesh Gohil takes on the role.

BMW brand MINI Australia has named Nikesh Gohil as its new Head of Marketing for Australia and New Zealand.
The appointment follows Alex McLean’s promotion from the role to General Manager of BMW Australia Marketing earlier this year. Gohil started in February.
Gohil has worked at MINI since 2016, most recently as Brand and Partnership Marketing Manager.
BMW says he successfully partnered with brands like QT Hotels, Arts Centre Melbourne, Rooftop Cinema and Melbourne International Film Festival.
He also developed a collaboration with the Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras that generated a total of 18.4 million in reach across national, metro, LGBTIQA+, arts and culture publications.
“Since its inception, MINI has showcased sustainability by being an economical, efficient and well-packaged mobility solution for people all over the world,” Gohil said in a statement.
“More than 60 years later, MINI continues its sustainable legacy by striving to become a fully electric brand by 2030.”
