Martin Kugeler named Stan CEO
After almost a year in the acting CEO role, Martin Kugeler has been officially appointed to the top job at Nine’s streaming platform Stan. His predecessor, Mike Sneesby, moved from CEO of Stan to CEO of Nine.

Nine’s streaming video on-demand service (SVOD) Stan has formally appointed a new CEO, Martin Kugeler, who has been acting in the role since April last year.
Kugeler has been Stan’s Chief Financial Officer and Director of Strategy, Sport, Business Development and Product over the past seven years. He was made acting CEO after former CEO Mike Sneesby was promoted to Nine CEO following the departure of Hugh Marks.
“As part of the team that planned, built and launched Stan back in 2015, Martin has been instrumental in developing the company’s strategy and shaping the business we have today,” Sneesby said in a statement.
Martin Kugeler said: "Stan is the business I love and that I’ve built together with Mike and the team for over seven years.”
The appointment is effective immediately.
