PubMatic boosts OpenWrap product for publishers

Sell-side platform PubMatic has released a major update to its OpenWrap publisher auction solution, promising yield improvements, better analytics and an upgraded API for publisher tech stacks.

Global adtech platform PubMatic has unveiled a suite of changes to its publisher auction bidding system, OpenWrap.

Publishers using OpenWrap will have access to new features that boost advertising yield, fit better into other tech stacks, and provide more detailed analytics.

As of Q2 this year, PubMatic said its revenue from OpenWrap has nearly doubled year-on-year.

All publishers using OpenWrap will get access to yield improvements, based on floor prices that are designed to increase revenue and refresh ads, an upgraded management API, which customises the platform to fit a publisher’s tech stack, and enhanced analytics.
