Supercheap Auto to launch 2024 wildcard team at Melbourne's Grazeland

Supercheap Auto is gearing up to launch its 2024 Wildcard team and Supercar test livery at Grazeland, one of Melbourne's largest food precincts, on Friday, April 12, 2024. Motorsport stars Craig Lowndes and Cooper Murray will join the Supercheap racing team for the launch event, which promises to be a thrilling spectacle for fans.

"The Supercheap Auto team are extremely excited to launch our fourth season of the Wildcard. To give Supercars fans an opportunity to be part of the action, right from the start, is important to us. This season is about them as much as it means to us and Grazeland is the perfect place to kick off our 2024 campaign," said Benjamin Ward, Managing Director, Supercheap Auto.

The event will feature a variety of activities, including Q&A and autograph sessions, a racing simulator, spin and win games, and a display of race cars and vehicles. Attendees will also enjoy live music, including a set from Red Bull’s DJ, and food from over 50 vendors at Grazeland.

The FIA Girls on Track booth will be present at the event, aiming to discover, nurture and promote female racing talent. The event will also feature a kids' zone called 'Jungle Hangout' with various activities.

"We are incredibly grateful to have the opportunity to host the Supercheap Auto Wildcard season launch, it’s a great demonstration of Grazeland's capabilities and allows us to introduce our diverse offerings to a new audience. As avid Supercar fans ourselves, we're especially excited to be part of an event that aligns so closely with our passions," said John Forman, Director, Grazeland.

Supercheap Auto's Wildcard program, backed by Triple Eight, began in 2021 and has seen a range of talented drivers achieve impressive finishes. Grazeland, located in Spotswood, is known for its diverse food offerings and is the chosen venue for the launch of Supercheap Auto’s 2024 Wildcard season.
