Dentsu ANZ names David Halter as strategy and growth chief

Dentsu ANZ has started 2022 with a head of Strategy and Growth, hiring former CHE Proximity strategy chief David Halter.

- The move comes after several highprofile hires, including Kirsty Muddle and John Riccio.
Dentsu has named David Halter as the new Chief Strategy and Growth Officer of its Australian and New Zealand business.
Halter joins from Clemenger Group’s CHE Proximity, where he has been Sydney Managing Director and Chief Strategy Officer and had worked with Samsung, IKEA, Danone, NRMA, eBay and Virgin Australia.
Dentsu ANZ has made several key appointments in the past few months, including former Cummins&Partners founding partner Kirsty Muddle as Creative CEO and John Riccio as CEO of Merkle.
The agency’s ANZ CEO, Angela Tangas, said Halter would add “immense value” to the network.
