The Working Party, a prominent Australian e-commerce agency, has announced the appointment of Dominik Wilkowski as its new Chief Technology Officer. Wilkowski, who is returning to the agency after a decade, will be responsible for leading technical innovation and fostering a culture of excellence within the engineering and design teams.

Wilkowski brings with him over 20 years of experience in engineering management, design systems, UI development, and leadership. He has held senior engineering and management positions at Westpac, Shopify, and Thinkmill. During his first tenure at The Working Party, Wilkowski worked on a new responsive framework for The Westpac Group that became one of the first multi-brand design systems in Australia. At Shopify, he was instrumental in leading the evolution of Polaris, a prolific design system.

As People Director at Thinkmill, Wilkowski grew the consultancy from 18 to 60 team members, expanding its design systems arm. In his new role, Wilkowski will oversee all aspects of the agency’s digital product development, design systems, and technical infrastructure. He will also be responsible for the growth and mentorship of the UX/UI and development teams, ensuring cross-functional collaboration and growth.
