SEN, DrinkWise help AFL fans sync live commentary to their TV
Sports Entertainment Network (SEN) has unveiled SEN Sync, a new feature that allows viewers to synchronises the SEN commentary team's live call with the on-screen action of AFL Premiership Season games.
Developed in partnership with DrinkWise, the feature is available at no cost on the SEN App for iOS and Android devices.
SEN Sync allows users to align the SEN commentary with visual coverage from Seven and Fox Footy.
The feature includes a manual delay setting for precision tuning if a customised delay is required. SEN Sync has also partnered with Lumo Energy to offer streaming flexibility, enabling users to send the commentary via Airplay to external speakers, soundbars, and smart devices.
In a bid to enhance the in-stadium experience, SEN is also rolling out zero latency SEN commentary to every AFL venue nationwide in the early rounds of the season. This move is aimed at providing real-time commentary to fans at the venues, further enhancing their game-watching experience.
SEN Chief Executive, Craig Hutchison, said: "Together with DrinkWise, SEN Sync hands the remote to fans. With the power to flawlessly sync our broadcast with live TV action, footy fans can now pump up the volume on footy's best call team."
DrinkWise Chief Executive Officer, Simon Strahan, said: "DrinkWise wants to ensure all fans enjoy the great moments of the game. By partnering with SEN to enable a better experience for fans through SEN Sync, it allows DrinkWise to provide timely reminders about moderation for AFL fans that are choosing to have a drink while watching the footy. Now you can listen to your favourite call while watching it all, in real time for the first time. You won't miss a moment if you DrinkWise and you won't miss a great footy call with SEN Sync."
