Andreessen Horowitz backed 11x secures $US50m in series B Funding, to help develop 'digital' workers
AI-powered digital workers provider, 11x, has successfully closed a $US50 million Series B funding round led by Andreessen Horowitz. The investment is intended to accelerate the development of 11x's AI agents, designed to address the imbalance of sales reps' time spent on non-selling tasks such as data entry and system management.
The company's first two digital workers, Alice and Jordan, have shown promising results in managing campaigns, sourcing leads, personalising outreach, and handling calls in multiple languages. 11x has developed a new version of Alice, Alice 2.0, which is fully autonomous and learns from every interaction to improve over time.
Following a team expansion in the US after their Series A in September, 11x has acquired AI startup Opkit, which focuses on developing healthcare solutions. Opkit co-founders Sherwood Callaway and Justin Ko will lead development on Alice 2.0, joining 11x CTO Prabhav Jain and product leader Keith Fearon.
In the next year, 11x plans to launch multiple new AI agents, drive aggressive revenue growth, and initiate key hiring in San Francisco. Each new digital worker is designed to replace the work of 11 full-time employees, managing a broad range of Go-to-Market (GTM) tasks.
"11x's approach to sales automation with Alice and Jordan isn't just about optimizing workflows. It's about creating a new model for how work gets done," said Joe Schmidt, Partner at Andreessen Horowitz. Hasan Sukkar, CEO and Founder of 11x, added, "We're seeking bold innovators ready to shape the future of AI. Each new digital worker will replace the work of 11 full-time employees, managing an even broader range of GTM tasks from lead management to pipeline analytics."
11x is backed by a range of investors including Andreessen Horowitz, Benchmark, Quiet Capital, SV Angel, Abstract Ventures, Lux Capital, Operator Partners, Visionaries, Activant, 20VC, 20 Growth, 20 Sales, and industry pioneers such as Amjad Masad (CEO of Replit), as well as Aaron Levie (CEO of Box), and Suhail Doshi (Founder of Playground).
