News Corp, Outbrain ink AI deal to enhance content discovery
News Corp Australia and Outbrain have announced a partnership which will see Outbrain's AI-powered recommendation technology, Smartlogic, integrated across News Corp Australia's digital properties.
The alliance commenced in January, with a phased rollout planned for early 2024.
The multi-year agreement includes the integration of Outbrain's advanced publisher suite, which encompasses monetisation, audience development, and total revenue optimisation technology across News Corp Australia's online portfolio. The collaboration aims to enhance the content discovery experience on high-traffic sites such as news.com.au and taste.com.au.
The collaboration builds on Outbrain's network of publishers in Australia, which includes major Nine Entertainment properties, Daily Mail Australia, and Australian Community Media. Outbrain is a leading technology platform that drives business results by engaging people across the open internet, using AI and machine learning across more than 7,000 online properties globally.
