EssenceMediaCom Sydney appoints Alex Williams as new head of planning
EssenceMediacom Australia has appointed former PHD staffer, Alex Williams as the new Head of Planning for its Sydney agency.
Williams, who brings over 14 years of experience in the media industry, is joining EssenceMediacom from PHD, where he served as Head of Planning and Effectiveness for four years. He is known for his ability to craft evidence-based marketing strategies and his collaborative approach among diverse teams and stakeholders, with skills spanning various categories and international markets.
"The craft of planning is fundamental in helping our clients breakthrough in the new communications economy. We are invested in delivering this capability for our clients' brands by attracting the best talent and leadership. I'm excited about the expertise and impact Alex will bring to our team and our Sydney clients," said National Head of Planning at EssenceMediacom, Jack Graham.
In his new role, Williams will report to Graham and join the Sydney leadership team under the guidance of Managing Director Stephanie Douglas-Neal.

Williams' appointment is effective from April 2024. He expressed his excitement about the new role.
