Former Clemenger Melbourne boss Gayle While has been made Chief Client Officer at Dentsu’s creative business.
The move follows While’s switch from Clemenger Melbourne last year to Dentsu’s reorganised media unit as Chief Digital Officer.
“There was no point looking outside the network; there is no-one better than Gayle for this role,” said Dentsu Creative CEO, Kirsty Muddle, who also joined the business last year.
“I’ve long been a fan of hers, if not fearful when she was the competition. She has also worked for Media Monks, and IPG. She’s a driver, she’s ingenious and she’s been at the forefront of creativity and innovation her entire career.”
Meanwhile, Dentsu Media has launched a new product team headed by Richard Pook, who comes in from Dentsu Aotearoa where he was GM of Platforms & Partnerships.
Dentsu Media CEO, Sue Squillace, said: “I cannot wait to see how Richard and the team accelerate and scale our products across our client and partners portfolios. I'm very excited about what his product team will achieve locally and globally.”
