New retail leader,
LSKD's growth in her hands,
A mission unfolds.
LSKD appoints first-ever chief retail officer to boost global footprint
Alex Shaughnessy, former retail leader at Lululemon and Bailey Nelson, has been appointed as the first-ever Chief Retail Officer at Australian apparel brand, LSKD.
Shaughnessy's role will involve expanding LSKD's global retail footprint, strengthening retail operations, fostering a culture of growth and skill development, and enhancing the brand's community experience.
Founder and CEO of LSKD, Jason Daniel, expressed excitement over Shaughnessy's appointment and her potential contributions to the company's retail growth.
"Alex brings amazing experience in retail, community, and leadership, as we continue our retail growth and aligning it to our mission to inspire our community to be 1% better every day," he said.
Shaughnessy has a 13-year tenure at Lululemon, where she served as Director of Retail and Community, leading over 40 stores and the national wholesale and community department for AUNZ. Prior to joining LSKD, Shaughnessy was the Head of Retail for AUNZ at Bailey Nelson, overseeing more than 70 stores and managing retail operations, customer service, and communications.
"I am so excited to be a part of a company that is up to BIG things and has a team that truly embodies the mission and values. I'll be focusing on growing our retail channel, bringing our mission to life in new stores and new communities to be 1% better every day. It's exciting to be able to bring our incredible online community experience to life in stores, to be able to expand the community, and support the growth of so many leaders across the business in AUNZ," said Shaughnessy.
LSKD hired its first head of marketing, Mike Doyle, in 2022. After Doyle's departure in April 2023, Daniel has resumed marketing leadership duties at the apparel brand.
