Tom Ward joins The Lab as Exec Director
Brand strategy and research agency The Lab has hired Tom Ward, former Chief Strategy Officer at Cummins & Partners, as its Executive Director. He's the third member of the agency's senior leadership team to leave in three months.

Tom Ward has been named as the new Executive Director of brand strategy and insights agency The Lab, leaving Cummins & Partners after seven years.
Ward was Chief Strategy Officer at Cummins & Partners, and before that was Managing Director at Naked Communications, and Head of Strategy and Insight at George Patterson Y&R.
Neale Cotton, co-founder and CEO of The Lab, said Ward’s strategic thinking and creativity meant he fit culturally and professionally at the agency.
Ward is the third senior member of Cummins & Partners to leave in as many months, starting with former CEO Kirsty Muddle, who was appointed Dentsu Creative Group CEO, and Chief Media Officer Paul Murphy, who left to become Melbourne MD of Dentsu’s iProspect.
Mid last year, Cummins hired Andy Copeland from IPG Mediabrands-owned Reprise as its Chief Data and Technology Officer.
