The rebranding follows the sudden resignation of Ant White, who Howatson said left the business to "take time out and spend more time with family".
The AFR reported claims that the company has also struggled to address cultural issues.
Howatson has denied those claims, stating the firm is committed to inclusion and gender diversity.
Howatson + Company will continue to operate a single model across multiple locations, with offices in Sydney and Melbourne and remains 100 per cent independent, with Howatson now sole owner and director.

We will continue our philosophies of over-investing in senior talent, deeply partnering with our clients and shifting behaviour across the entire customer journey," Howatson said.
