Tones and I, G Flip, Cyril to headline Townsville Supercars extravaganza
Supercars' annual North Queensland event, The NTI Townsville 500, will host performances from Australian artists Tones and I, G Flip, and Cyril in a concert at the circuit precinct on Saturday 6 July.
Tones and I, originally a busker from the Mornington Peninsula, Australia, has gained global recognition with her breakout 'Dance Monkey' going 6x platinum in the United States. G Flip, another Australian artist, has won global awards including the 2023 ARIA for Best Australian Live Act. Their sophomore album, Drummer, shot to #1 on the ARIA charts. Cyril, an Australian DJ and producer, gained international fame when his remix of 'Stumbling In' went viral on TikTok in 2023. The trip will perform on the evening of Saturday, 6 July.
The NTI Townsville 500 is the biggest annual sporting event in North Queensland and is now in its 15th year, celebrating its 40th Supercars race this year. The event will also feature support categories including the Dunlop Series, the Porsche Sprint Challenge, Toyota Gazoo Racing Australia 86 Series and the Battery World Aussie Racing Cars Super Series.
