Six of the next generation of agency leaders have been selected to give short presentations at the MFA’s EX Effectiveness Expo in Sydney and Melbourne early next year.
The expo is due to be held in Sydney on 10 February and Melbourne on 16 February, and is designed to educate and inspire people in the media and communications industry. In 1029, more than 1,500 people attended the Sydney event.
Employees with less than 15 years’ experience in the industry were invited to submit proposals for a series of four minute presentations, named Inspiration X.
The future leaders selected by the MFA were:
- Remi Baker, Head of Strategy at PHD Sydney, will speak about ‘crimes against creativity’,
- Liz Penton, Associate Director at Mindshare, will speak about ‘human connection theory’,
- Aaron D’Ortona, Connections Design Director at Bohemia and Caitlin West, Connections Designer at Bohemia, will talk about tenure and happiness,
- Jack Monro, Senior Strategy Manager at PHD, will talk about the pitfalls of prediction, and
- Christian Rossi, Account Executive at Starcom, will talk about how the All Blacks inspire elite performance.
Sophie Madden, MFA CEO, said: “Feedback from MFA EX attendees in 2019 revealed the Inspiration X sessions to be among the most popular and compelling content of the day, a great testament to the sharp minds and presentation skills of our industry’s future leaders.”
