Taboola appoints Joe France as New Zealand sales lead amid strategic expansion
Taboola has announced the appointment of Joe France as its New Zealand sales lead. France, a former Taboola APAC director and skilled digital strategist, will be responsible for cultivating key partnerships and delivering innovative solutions to meet evolving client needs in New Zealand.
France brings a wealth of experience to his new role, having previously served as Taboola's APAC Sales and Partnership Director based in Thailand for nearly five years. His career in digital advertising and publishing spans nearly two decades, during which he has worked with some of the world's leading content marketing brands, including MSN, Yahoo, and LinkedIn, across Asia, Australia, and New Zealand.
In addition to his time at Taboola, France has also worked with Tilt Digital New Zealand and PitchMe, and was part of the founding team of the Southeast Asian Admax Network, which was sold to Komli Media in 2012.
This appointment follows news of Taboola's recently signed 30-year strategic partnership with Yahoo, under which Taboola will exclusively power native advertising across all of Yahoo’s digital properties. Taboola now boasts more than 7.5 million daily average users in Australia, and over one million in New Zealand.
