Bikesales revs up new campaign amidst rising motorcycle demand

Bikesales, a division of Carsales, has launched a new digital advertising campaign titled 'A lifetime of bikes'. The campaign, produced in collaboration with creative and production agency Two Tractors, celebrates the lifelong passion of motorcyclists and aims to position Bikesales as the preferred platform for buying and selling motorcycles.

The campaign features both male and female characters narrating their motorcycle buying journeys, from their first bikes to their latest ones. It comprises two 15-second hero adverts and several shorter clips showcasing various features of the Bikesales website.

According to Rafael Constantinou, Carsales EGM, Marketing, Content & Customer, “We are excited to be launching this campaign – while Aussies may think of cars getting them from A to B, motorcycles are also becoming an alternative for many. Since 2019, there has been a 72% increase in the number of motorcycle buyers in Australia.”

The campaign will run in four major states across paid digital channels, including YouTube, Facebook and more. This comes at a time when there has been a significant increase in the number of motorcycle buyers in Australia, with a 72% rise since 2019.

Rick Hargreaves, Two Tractors Co-Founder, said, “We’ve had a lot of fun bringing personality and humour to this campaign and it’s been a brilliant collaboration with the Bikesales team. The combination of actors and animated elements, mirroring the Bikesales interface is such an effective way to showcase the simplicity of researching and buying a motorcycle on Bikesales.com.au.”
