Celebrity Cruises names PHD to media account
Celebrity Cruises has appointed PHD Australia to its ANZ media account after a pitch. It’s looking for rapid growth as travel restrictions ease and Australians and New Zealanders get back into cruising.

Celebrity Cruises, part of the Royal Caribbean Group, has named PHD Australia to its media account after a competitive pitch.
Effective immediately, PHD will buy all offline and online media in Australia and New Zealand for the brand, which is looking to leverage surging growth in the cruise sector as travel restrictions ease.
“Celebrity Cruises was seeking a bold, insights-driven, agency partner who truly understood our brand to help us navigate this critical juncture,” Celebrity Cruises Head of Marketing ANZ, Emma Mumford said.
“We’re excited to start this partnership, knowing the synergies between teams will amplify the efforts of talent.”
PHD Sydney’s Managing Director, Stephanie Douglas-Neal, said Celebrity Cruises is an “incredible brand” that is a challenger in the category. “From the outset we knew we wanted to work with Emma and her team,” she said.
PHD Australia has recently announced wins including Swisse in Melbourne and Brisbane Festival in Brisbane.
