Canva explores the world of design in inaugural podcast series
Canva has launched its first-ever podcast, 'Design Surfaces', hosted by the platform's Head of Design, Andrew Green.
The podcast will explore all areas of deign, from brand campaigns to user experience (UX) flows, delving into conversation with Canva's own designers to better understand the stories behind their craft.
The inaugural episode features a conversation with Canva's Chief Product Officer and co-founder, Cameron Adams, covering the evolving landscape of design, the critical role of taste, and the transformative impact of AI on creativity. Green and Adams discuss the future of Canva and where the company is headed, while also sharing their own personal journeys through design in a conversation that's a mix of nostalgia, future-gazing and advice.
The first five episodes will feature Canva's Principal Product Designer, Jess Faccin, Head of Product, Rob Kawalsky, Graphic Designer, Kookie Santos, and Content Design Lead, Amelia Marshall.
Each episode aims to provide listeners with a deeper understanding of design principles and practices, as well as insights into Canva's design philosophy and approach.
The first episode of 'Design Surfaces' is already available, with new episodes set to be released on a weekly basis.
