Active Super, formerly Local Government Super, has appointed indie agency Apparent to its media account after a competitive pitch.
The agency will manage media strategy, planning and buying, including performance media and search engine optimisation.
Active Super rebranded earlier this year and has $14 billion of funds under management. It focuses heavily on responsible investing, and is one of only four super funds with all products certified by the Responsible Investment Association Australasia. It is also certified carbon neutral by Climate Active.
“Apparent impressed us with their expertise in driving awareness and building the brand through our responsible investing policies and highlighting our fund performance to drive acquisition,” Chantal Walker, chief digital and marketing officer at Active Super, said.
Apparent recently won Sydney Symphony Orchestra, and also works with Cricket Australia, Chartered Accountants ANZ and Anglicare.
