Val Morgan Digital adds eight to its publisher ranks

Val Morgan Digital’s publishing brands – The Latch, POPSUGAR Australia, Thrillist Australia and Fandom – have been given a shot in the arm with eight new hires in recent months.

- The company now counts 20 per cent of its staff based in Melbourne.
Val Morgan Digital has added eight new people to its roster since August, with 20 per cent of its team now based in Melbourne.
The publisher expects a big 2022 across its suite of brands: The Latch, POPSUGAR Australia, Thrillist Australia and Fandom.
New appointments include:
- Angela Law, who has joined as Branded Content and Shopping Editor,
- Allison Charles, who joined as Senior Account Manager,
- Sangeeta Kocharekar, who joined as Lifestyle Editor,
- Alana Young, who joined from Junkee,
- Kaitlan Fletcher, who joined as Agency Partnerships Manager,
- Katie Taylor, who joined as Agency Partnerships Manager,
- Kevin Armendariz, who joined as Agency Partnerships Executive, and
- Basmah Qazi, who joined as Entertainment Producer.
“The calibre of the talent we’ve recruited is incredibly strong, with each new member bringing diverse knowledge and experience across TV, digital, print and radio,” Amanda Bardas, Publisher at Val Morgan Digital said.
