Buy signal: Enero Group hires Nick Burton to spearhead strategy and M&A
Enero Group is working on big growth plans and has announced a new hire to deliver them. Former Bain & Company and CommBank exec, Nick Burton, brings "deep expertise" in corporate strategy, mergers and acquisitions, per CEO Brent Scrimshaw.

- He will report directly to Enero Group CEO Brent Scrimshaw.
Enero Group is plotting "aggressive" expansion and has hired Nick Burton, a former Bain & Company and Commonwealth Bank of Australia executive, to drive strategy and M&A deals.
The new Group Strategy and M&A Director will be based in Enero’s Sydney headquarters as part of the Executive Leadership Team, reporting to Group CEO Brent Scrimshaw.
Burton joins after four years with Bain in London and Sydney, where he led projects focused on corporate strategy and transformation for large companies. He previously worked in the Institutional Banking and Markets team at the Commonwealth Bank of Australia, and as a Startup Advisor for Startup Bootcamp Fintech in London.
“Nick’s industry experience and deep expertise in corporate strategy, mergers and acquisitions will be invaluable to Enero and our agencies, as we progress our global strategy and identify growth opportunities across the group,” said Scrimshaw.
