Megan Osborne takes Editor's reins at Better Homes and Gardens
Megan Osborne has been appointed as the new Editor of 'Better Homes and Gardens', which takes the honours as Australia's most widely read paid magazine.
Osborne will report to Are Media General Manager, Homes, Lisa Hudson, and will be responsible for all channels, including digital and print. Osborne will work with the 'Better Homes and Gardens' team to shape the future of the brand, which boasts a monthly reach of more than 2.2 million people. Her appointment is effective from 14 August.
Osborne brings to the table a wealth of experience in brand, content, and marketing strategy. She has previously worked at Hardie Grant Publishing, Woolworths, and The Mint Partners communications agency. At Mint, Osborne worked with brands such as Archie Rose, Volvo, ArchiPro, Pernod Ricard and Marriott International.
"I'm very excited to welcome Megan to the Are Media team and can't wait for her to start. She is very talented and experienced omnichannel content strategist and team leader, with a proven track record in thinking outside the box," said Hudson. "Megan has a real passion for the Better Homes and Gardens brand and comes with exciting ideas to reach new audiences, build community and diversify revenue."
Osborne said she'd been amazed but not truly surprised "at just how effectively this brand has burrowed its way into the hearts of so many Australians".
