Joanna Robinson ascends to permanent CMO role at The Iconic

The Iconic has appointed Joanna Robinson as its permanent Chief Marketing Officer, effective immediately.

Robinson, who initially joined the company as interim CMO in April 2023, now steps into the role permanently, bringing with her over 25 years of experience in marketing, sales, and leadership.

Robinson's career boasts an impressive roster of roles with high-profile companies including Unilever, Estée Lauder, Johnson & Johnson, P&G, Colgate, L'occitane, Tyrrell's Wines, and Chatime. This wealth of experience, coupled with her proven track record in revitalising brands and driving successful omni-channel strategies, positions her well for the challenges ahead.

The Iconic Chief Executive Officer, Jere Calmes, expressed his delight at Robinson's appointment.

"I am thrilled that Joanna will be remaining with the business as The Iconic's Chief Marketing Officer," he said. "Joanna's impact in the short time she has been our acting CMO has been nothing short of remarkable - her strong leadership and great customer insights have proven to be an integral part of our business. Robinson's recent achievements include spearheading the disruptive campaign 'The Shop That Stops The Nation', which celebrated The Iconic's 12th Birthday in October by gifting its customers.
