To lead and to spread.
Carat chief strategist jumps to Mamamia
Mamamia has appointed Dentsu's Danni Wright as its new Head of Strategy, charged with heading up the strategic product across Mamamia and Squad, the company's content marketing agency.
Wright has been chief strategy officer at Carat since 2021, having first joined the Dentsu media agency's Sydney office in 2014. She is one of three senior executives confirmed to have departed the agency in the wake of a broad-reaching restructure that came into effect at Dentsu ANZ last week.
Wright is due to start in the new role on 24 June, and will be part of Mamamia's sales leadership team, working closely with the content leadership and audience development teams to identify and create new content opportunities.
"Mamamia has incredibly deep insight into 7 million women we reach every month and our ability to leverage these insights to help brands connect in an authentic and effective way is unrivalled. We are absolutely pumped to have Danni joining our team. Her experience, relationships and passion for media will be a huge asset to our team and elevate our already exceptionally strong product," said Mamamia’s Chief Revenue Officer, Natalie Harvey.
Prior to her time at Carat Australia, Wright spent close to six years at the agency's London office.
Wright said: "I can't wait to get my teeth stuck into the new role, and to join a team with palpable momentum and fire behind their uniquely positioned offering."
