OzHarvest is hosting a special concert event, 'Unite to Feed Australia Live', with the aim of raising funds to provide two million meals for Australians struggling to make ends meet.
The concert, part of OzHarvest's 20th anniversary celebrations, is set to air at 7.30pm on Tuesday, 3 December on Channel 7 and 7plus.
The concert will be hosted by Better Homes and Gardens presenter Johanna Griggs and comedian Jimmy Rees. Special guest Bob Geldof will share insights into the power of music, 40 years on from Live Aid. OzHarvest founder Ronni Kahn AO will discuss the current challenges Australians are facing with food security.
“This is more than a concert, it’s a call to action and every dollar raised will enable us to deliver two meals to someone in need. The concert aims to raise crucial funds to provide two million meals for Australians struggling to make ends meet,” said OzHarvest founder, Ronni Kahn AO.
