Vodka Cruiser remixes new Flavours range with music in experiential campaign

Vodka Cruiser, in collaboration with Clemenger Group’s activation specialist agency, Traffik, has debuted a unique music experience for the launch of its new Flavours range.

The installation, dubbed 'The MixMachine', was a collaboration between Traffik and fellow Clemenger Group agency, Made This. The MixMachine, over five meters in length, featured 61 speakers and 7500 watts of power, creating a unique blend of technology, music, and Vodka Cruiser Flavours.

The MixMachine mixed Vodka Cruiser Flavours with soda water using vibrations from the music played through the in-built speakers. Drinks were prepared by human bar staff on the night to avoid long queues. The MixMachine was designed to celebrate the brand ethos by integrating technology, music, and Vodka Cruiser Flavours. Guests at the event were treated to DJ sets by Ayebatonye, Benson, and Winston Surfshirt.

"Everyone knows and loves Vodka Cruiser as a pre-mixed drink. We needed to highlight the new format. And 12-inch sub woofers did the job just perfectly," said Creative Director at Traffik, Mark Held.

The project involved a blend of science, technology, and creativity, with a focus on cymatics - the study of wave phenomena for sound and their visual representation.

"To materialise the concept, we used cymatics which is the study of wave phenomena for sound and their visual representation. To get the effect we wanted, we took a lot of time in research and development with all the subject matter experts collaborating very closely. When you blend science, technology and creativity a lot of interesting things happen, and this mixing machine was truly one of a kind and a dream project to work on," said Head of Creative Technology at Made This, Marie-Celine Merret Wirstrom.

The event was a celebration of the new range of Vodka Cruiser Flavours.

"Remixed by Music was the perfect way to celebrate the new range of Flavours with our fans, elevating drinks with fun, flavour, and colour! The creation of the MixMachine installation helped to demonstrate just how versatile our new Vodka Cruiser Flavours range is," said Monique Di Gregorio, Vodka Cruiser’s Marketing Manager.
