What you need to know:
- Melbourne Airport and oOh!Media have entered into a multi-year advertising deal.
- The contract also includes signage for Tasmania's Launceston Airport.
Melbourne Airport has signed with oOh!media for its outdoor advertising services. The deal includes access to Melbourne’s international and domestic terminals and external signage.
The contract also covers internal signage at Launceston Airport across a multi-year term, following the expiration of the prior contract.
Pre-Covid, Melbourne airport accommodated over 37 million passengers a year, with 26 million passengers moving through the domestic terminals to various destinations, including one of the world’s busiest routes between Melbourne and Sydney, as well as 11 million through the International terminal.
Australia's airlines are now making huge marketing pushes in a bid to rebuild domestic passenger numbers.
“The proposal from oOh! complemented Melbourne Airport’s focus on traveller experience and demonstrated the airport’s potential not only today, but in the future," said Melbourne Airport’s Chief People Experience & Marketing Officer Mari Ruiz.
