Former Spotify exec takes the helm at Vudoo for APAC expansion
Vudoo, a pioneer in content commerce and in-stream checkout, has announced the appointment of Peter Manten as its new Managing Director for the Asia Pacific region.
Manten, who previously served as the ANZ Regional Head of Sales at Spotify, will be tasked with developing and executing Vudoo's business strategies for market growth in the APAC region. He will also be responsible for building and managing relationships with key stakeholders.
Vudoo CEO Nick Morgan expressed his confidence in Manten's ability to drive the company's growth.
"We chose Peter for this role because his unique balance of experience in traditional publishing and big tech gives us the insights we need to serve our customers and provide incrementally better solutions. His proven commercial leadership will be invaluable as we continue to grow our business and expand into new markets," he said.
Manten himself is enthusiastic about his new role. "To enter a role and business at this stage of its life cycle and to be part of a truly global aspiring company is a hugely appealing and very rare opportunity, and certainly one that I desired and had to be a part of."
Vudoo has established partnerships with publishers including News Corp, Are Media and New Zealand Media and Entertainment (NZME). Its global clients include Forever New, S&P Global and Kohler. The company's expansion into the international market is driven by the exponential growth of content commerce and a massive increase in demand for its pioneering technology.
Founded in 2017, Vudoo's platform enables advertisers to enhance their content by creating personalised journeys through one-to-one storytelling aimed at capturing audience attention and boosting engagement.
