Cartology's Vicinity retail out of home rollout nears completion

Cartology is on track to have more than 1,000 new digital screens live across the Vicinity Centres network as the retail media business' rollout with the group nears completion.

The partnership, which was first publicised in December, will see Cartology install, maintain and manage over 1,100 digital small and large format advertising screens across Vicinity Centre's locations. Chadstone, the largest shopping centre in Australia, is among the first to be transformed. The centre is set to receive almost 100 new small format screens, supplementing the existing large format network.

Beyond Chadstone, screen installations are also in progress at an additional 53 centres, with more than 242 small format screens now live. These new installations complement the existing 134 large format screens that are already live through Cartology's partnership with Vicinity Centres.

Cartology's collaboration with Vicinity Centres has resulted in its total retail out of home screen network growing to more than 3,300 digital screens. In addition to this, Cartology also boasts an in-store screen network of more than 1,900 screens across Woolworths Supermarkets, Woolworths Metro, and BIG W stores.

Cartology's portfolio spans Woolworths Supermarkets, Metro Supermarkets, BIG W, Retail Out of Home, and off-network, positioning it as a leader in the retail media landscape in Australia.

Managing Director at Cartology, Mike Tyquin, said: "We’re pleased to be underway with a significant rollout that’s flexed our procurement and installation management muscles, while doubling down on our retail out of home proposition and insights offering. We’re going big in coverage as we build momentum around a market leading retail out of home network that offers renewed potential for brands to reach customer audiences at scale and whilst tapping into Cartology’s unique customer insights."
