Stackadapt appoints former Qualtrics marketer Ryan Nelsen as CMO
Multi-channel advertising platform, StackAdapt, has appointed former Qualtrics marketer Ryan Nelsen as its new Chief Marketing Officer.
Nelsen brings 17 years of strategic marketing expertise to the company. At Qualtrics, he served in product marketing, ABM, field marketing, and enterprise marketing, playing a pivotal role in launching the Qualtrics Customer Experience business, which contributed to the company's first $1 billion US in revenue. He has also served as Executive Vice President of Marketing for MX, where he oversaw all aspects of marketing and brand development.
"We are excited to add Ryan to our leadership team as we continue to deliver on massive client demand around the world and scale StackAdapt. He is a proven winner with the strategic experience and record of success we need to further round out our executive team and hit our growth goals," said StackAdapt co-founder and CEO, Vitaly Pecherskiy.
Nelsen will be based in the US and report directly to Pecherskiy. His appointment comes at a time when StackAdapt is experiencing rapid global expansion and is recognised as a leader in AI and machine learning within the advertising industry. The company claims to make 143 billion AI-driven decisions per second to buy digital ads, with over 70% of ad spend utilising StackAdapt's proprietary algorithms.
"StackAdapt is setting the pace in AI-powered advertising technology. I’ve been incredibly impressed with the team, the technology, and the value StackAdapt is delivering to clients and brands. With a perfect product-market fit and our unmatched speed of innovation, I’m excited to build as we serve the best agencies and brands around the world," Nelsen said.
In his position at StackAdapt, Nelsen will lead a world-class team and take responsibility for all aspects of marketing, including product marketing, brand growth, digital strategies, communications, public relations, experiential marketing, and design.
"The only way to do that, is to help our clients around the world to achieve breakthrough advertising outcomes time and time again. That is StackAdapt’s promise and my commitment," Nelsen said.
